Professor Stock’s recently published book Material Girls is a thorough analysis of how gender identity theory negatively impacts women.

It examines the four principles of gender politics and trans activism, namely:

• that everyone has an inner gender identity,

• that gender identity might not match our biological sex,

• that your gender identity determines whether you are a man or a woman or indeed another gender, and

• that the existence of the trans community means we as a society must promote the value of gender identity above the value of biological sex

For examining and discussing these principles Professor Stock has endured ‘cancel’ campaigns by students and activists online and on campus.
